Istiklal Street Nostalgic Tram Line Renovation and Landscaping Construction
Istiklal Street Nostalgic Tram Line Renewal and Landscaping Project is a comprehensive urban renewal investment that includes the renewal of the nostalgic tram line, modernization of infrastructure systems and landscaping works on Istiklal Street, one of the most important symbols of Istanbul. Within the scope of the project carried out on an area of approximately 47,000 m², the infrastructure systems were completely renewed, natural stone coatings were applied in accordance with the historical texture and the nostalgic tram line was reconstructed in accordance with modern engineering standards. Kors İnşaat A.Ş., as a subcontractor, has successfully completed the infrastructure manufacturing, natural stone coating applications and renovation of the tram line without disrupting pedestrian and commercial life, making a significant contribution to Istiklal Street’s attainment of a safe, durable and long-lasting urban infrastructure that preserves its historical identity.
