The Grand Bazaar Restoration and Inner Streets Reorganization Project is a comprehensive restoration investment that includes the protection of cultural heritage, renewal of infrastructure systems and improvement of pedestrian areas in one of the most important historical trade centers of the world. Within the scope of the project, the original architectural character of the historical building was preserved, the infrastructure systems were renewed in accordance with modern engineering standards, and visitor safety and long-lasting use were taken as the basis. Kors İnşaat A.Ş., as a subcontractor, has successfully completed the natural stone coating applications in the inner streets of the Grand Bazaar and the infrastructure works of these productions, and has made a significant contribution to the market’s attainment of a safe, aesthetic and sustainable structure, thanks to the productions carried out with materials and application techniques suitable for the historical texture.
